- June 12, 2013

A Web-Based Loss Control Webinar for PEPIP and HARPP Members Wednesday, June 12, 2013
Since it’s origination in 1913, the Life Safety Code (NFPA 101) has undergone numerous revisions as well as title changes.
Today it is the most widely used source for strategies to protect people from the effects of fire and other emergencies in both new and existing buildings. The Life Safety Code is used in every U.S. state and adopted into local law in 43 states.
What is the Life Safety Code and how does it affect my organization? We’ll review answers to these questions as well as:
– Is the Life Safety Code the Law?
– What Key Elements Should I Be Concerned About?
– Do the 2012 Changes Affect My Organization?
– How Does the Code Affect Various Occupancies?
Participants will receive a copy of the presentation after the webinar.
