Or when claims and suits mature, will memories be clouded regarding the extraordinary circumstances under which care was given in the pandemic? In this one hour presentation, attorneys Bryan Reid and Lann McIntyre will discuss the current landscape of COVID-19 litigation and risk mitigation for the uncharted territory of future legal actions in healthcare related COVID-19 cases.
At the end of the webinar, the participant should be able to:
1. Discuss the current landscape of COVID-19 litigation as it relates to health care organizations.
2. Describe anticipated claims related to hospitals and LTC organizations resulting from the COVID-19 pandemic.
3. Review and implement, as appropriate, risk mitigation strategies to prevent or defend COVID-19 related claims.
