Overview

Healthcare organizations are complex businesses that require a variety of functions to sustain efficient operations, financial strength and provide high quality patient care.  Amid the COVID-19 pandemic, healthcare organizations are experiencing varying levels of challenges to the delivery of high-quality care and operational and financial stress.  Swift and accurate decisions on how to offset the abrupt loss in revenue and other operational challenges need to be made.  Organizations that function under a robust ERM infrastructure are better able to make to make real time decisions and likely fare better than others.  Healthcare organizations that adopt a well-functioning Enterprise Risk Management framework can timely identify and manage internal and external threats and can accomplish greater adaptability and agility in our rapidly evolving healthcare industry environment.  This program will provide a micro and macro analysis of the vast impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on healthcare organizations and will discuss ERM-focused mitigation strategies.
