Our unconscious – implicit – biases can create inequalities in our actions with co-workers and patients. These biases can be examined, challenged and unlearned, furthering our goal of health equity. Please join us for this one hour webinar discussing the impact of implicit bias in health care and complying with the California laws intended to mitigate implicit bias.

  2. Describe California implicit bias laws and steps to comply.
  3. Develop a plan of action to address implicit bias in your organization.

Partner, Downey Brand

Liz Stallard is a partner in Downey Brand’s Labor and Employment practice group. She provides advice and counseling to clients dealing with workforce management, disability access, and Cal/OSHA-related workplace safety issues. Liz is also an experienced litigator, and when informal resolution is not possible, efficiently resolves disputes through litigation, administrative proceedings, and arbitration. She is licensed in California and Nevada, and has tried cases in both states, as well as in Arizona federal court.
