Account Management serves as the primary liaison between CHI and Optima, as well as interfacing with other insurance carriers for various brokered products. The team’s principal goal is to respond to every owner’s individual needs and requirements simply, efficiently, and effectively.

Efficient Claims Handling

Claims Management believes in developing strong relationships with owners and defense counsel partners to enhance a team approach in the resolution or defense of reported claims. The team responds quickly, believing that early intervention will reduce costs, and that a proactive, strong, defense-minded approach to the resolution of claims will produce the best results for CHI owners.

Risk Management

Risk Management believes that the development of an enterprise-wide, proactive risk management program is essential for patient safety and care and mitigates potential risks and claims for both CHI and its owners. The team works collaboratively with owners to reduce liability exposures and enhance clinical outcomes and care.

Underwriting

Underwriting is responsible for pricing risk using actuarially reasonable and stable rates as well as evaluating coverage in collaboration with the other service teams.
